This is the SECOND permanent override on the same ballot. Two permanent tax increases in one election.
WHAT QUESTION 2 DOES
Question 2 asks Yarmouth voters to permanently raise the property tax levy by $680,194 to fund Cape Cod Regional Technical High School’s operating budget. Yarmouth’s total FY2027 CCT assessment is $4,746,886.
Like Question 1, this is a permanent override. It is added to your tax levy base and compounds at 2.5% annually. There is no sunset clause. There is no expiration. It is forever.
